Hi, I'm not doubting what you are saying....but how can only one Plax coupon be accepted on a purchase of 8, when you say all coupons accepted on purchases of 2 of each product......and how can you go through the tills with two of each a few times with general shopping.......I dont "general shop" at T unless its "free general shop"

To me it sounds like an operator error, where an attempt has been made to scan more than one of the same coupons, one after the other, and rather than use the hand scanner, the operator has refused them on the basis that the fixed scanner wouldn't scan them

Either the tills are accepting multiple coupons, or they aren't, must admit that after the weekends Plax bashing, i haven't tried any Plax since.......can anyone else who has bought Plax today confirm or deny this "one coupon" on Plax policy.........

I only bought 2 plax today. On SS tills I used the following coupons: 2x 1.00plax 1x 1.25quit..............the other day I tried to buy 2xplax at a normal till, but the witch on the till would only take 1.25quit coupon and no plax coupons, so I told her I'd put the plax back and just paid for the rest of my shopping and left. I hate my local store (metro). Wish I lived near a tesco extra!

I live just up the road from a big tesco extra but dont shop their only for bits as they are really funny at takeing coupons
I went in the other week got some stuff i can oly take 1 he said so i said keep the rest of the shopping my dd says i show her up
She will say oh i am not going to tescos again
Same as when we are puting the shopping in the bags my dh says hurry up their is a que I will say hey my money is as good as theirs .

Totally agree with you, Sandra. I shop on my own as hubby is always rushing me to pack quicker, and although the SAs offer to pack they don't know how to separate shopping properly (even though I put it in the right order on the belt) and toiletries end up with fridge goods or something. Take your time I say, SAs don't get paid more for putting more customers through the checkout. We used to get targets for no of products to scan at sainsburys, but you could always sub-total to give the customer time to catch up and this stopped the timer, too.

Anyway, has anyone managed to find any coupons at Purley this time round? I usually find all of them but haven't managed to see any HBs yet. Have they officially been scrapt? Plax is back on BOGOF there.

Eastbourne didn't have any this week...Still I tried 3 times on our hols

Just thought I would agree with the other poster who said they nearly fell over when they say the H&B vouchers in their local store .

Leadhead - I bought 4x Plax today (amongst other things), and the 4x Plax £1 coupons scanned fine. I handed them over mixed up with H&B, Colgate and magazine coupons and the lot was accepted.

I have some blue clothing coupons (2x £4, 1x £6, 1x £10) I don't think I will get round to using - can you PM if you're interested in these versus H&B 50ptrs? Thanks!

3x Tesco Touthpaste @ 0.21 = £0.63

Total = £12.15

Vouchers to use
3x 40p off touthpaste = 1.20
4x £1 off plax = 4.00
3x £1 off £4 spend = 3.00
2x £1.25 off £5 spend = 2.50
1x £2.50 off £10 spend (h&b) = 2.50
1x £2.50 off £10 spend (sb) = 2.50

Sub Total = £3.55 in credit
Minus BOGOF = £9.31 in credit

it depends on sa.

1st shop - 4 plax and others. all fine.

2nd shop - 8 plax and others, sabrina said she won't sell me the 2 plax, did people commit suicide by drinking too much plax? no she said because it is on bogof so cannot sell more than 6 bottles, smell trouble but test her with a few coupons anyway, red button pressed but shop too busy, wait and no one bother, i'd put these thro but i cannot accept this, what about non identical manufacturer ones, yes but u have to buy the product, gave her an impulse refunded one, but u didn't buy any of these products, dove is unilever, ok i will put this one thro sabrina was grinding her teeth. a trip to cs and refunded the lot. only got free plax on this shop, no complaint.

agreed. 6 bottles policy in a store today. first time went to that store but obviously the store has been plax-raided and on high alert.

small shopping works better.
