Someone mentioned a Insect repellant stick from Tescos.
I saw it today but wonder what it comes under ,healthcare or toiletries and can I use coupons on it.
Did 2 shops today,
2 dove= 2.28 after BOGOF
4 lynx= 3.64 after bogof
1 reduced shower gel @ 1.00 (just realised I didn't need this to make £10....I can't add up!)Still it smells lovely:o
Used
1 x 2.50
1 x 1.00
1 x 1.25
2 x 70 palmolive
50p moc
= -6.65
He scrutinised every voucher ,even checking on my receipt that I had bought palmolive shower gel...........oh no I thought I was caught out:eek:
However the receipt just says "shower gel" for the lynx so he scanned the coupons OK:D
Might have got away with more coupons but didn't want to push it.Also I only have a couple of quit coupons left.Wanted to use up the SB palmolive ones as they run out first.
2nd visit
3 John Frieda shampoo/conditioner @ £8.92 342
used
1 x 2.50 sb
1 x 2.50 hb
1 x 1.25 quit
1 x 50p moc
= - £6.75
= £2.17 for 3
Could do better:mad::j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -
I did another one today. Getting a bit too into this I fear!
2x dove bodywash ( 2.23), 2x gilette deod for OH ( 2.18 bogof) , 2x dove deo for me (2 for £3) 12.32 - minus the bogof 6.16 - used onee 2.50 off ( H&B) and one 1.25 off ( SK) plus a 50 pointer.
So 2.41 for that little lot, not the best, but then again the SA was clearly bemused when the till allowed them and i thought best not to push my luck again!
Still I smell Sooooooooooooooooooo beautifulthanks Mr T
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

had a great shop tonight, spent £30 on stuff before bogof.
handed a wad of vouchers to new lad, and he said
'do you want me to scan all of these'
massive smile on face 'yes please, i think that they are correct, but if not then the till will beep and say no'
And hey presto he did. I also had some other stuff and ended up with loads of shopping for £14.
Off again tomorrow. Only used to do £10 before bogofs now getting brave to do £20 ones.0 -

When I eventually got the SA to take the Tesco coupons for the JF I had bought she scanned, and the till accepted, 2 x £1.25 Quit as well as the £2.50 SB & £2.50 HB which means the 3 JF cost me £1.42. (Remember though not to have 2 of the same coupons next to each other as I'm sure I've read on here that the tills won't scan the 2nd one.)
(Re my earlier message, perhaps I've no reason to feel disheartened, as the other items I needed to buy anyway but it's just that the word FREE is such a nice word and that is what I wanted to get the JF to.)

I was just wary of coming across a "one coupon only" SA again.
I only have one Quit coupon (must get onto ebay) left so will keep it for next weeks new offers.
If the current offers end on 14th then I assume the new ones start on 15th?
Wonder what we will get next?:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -
Hopefully plax:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

I did a Tesco shop today and used one coupon of each. The male SA wouldn't put through the 70p palmolive coupon against Tesco value shower gel at 13p. He called the supervisor over who said as it was a Tesco shower gel it was ok. They both told me that Tescos are now clamping down on people using coupons as far too many people are bringing in a wad of coupons and getting their shopping for next to nothing (their words not mine). I must admit, even though I am only using one coupon of each, they are still trying to find fault with what I'm giving them and this is the third time ( three different Tescos) I have been told they are now clamping down as too many people are cheating the system ( again their words not mine). I hope they don't clamp down too much as I haven't had this much fun in ages *making mental note to myself -I must get out more*:rolleyes:0

Bit confused about my HB shop today. I bought the following things;
2 lynx showergel £3.64
2 sunsilk £3.54
2 tesco toothpaste £3.98
3 value sponges £0.51
2 value showergel £0.26
1 value toothpaste £0.21
Total before bogof £12.14
Total after bogof £6.56
The SA scanned these vouchers;
1x£2.50 HB accepted
3X£1 HB only 2 accepted by till
2x£1.25 QK only 1 accepted by till
2x70p palmolive SB only 1 accepted by till
1x40p colgate QK not accepted by till
Can anyone let me know why these were not all taken? - the SA did scan them and I thought that I'd spent what I should have. Only had to pay 11p :T but was looking forward to extra money off the rest of my shopping!
Has anyone had the DM book token accepted in Tesco's? It was not taken by my local store, although SA did try to scan it and typed in barcode, as I don't think they sell the book - never mind
This is my first post, so please be kind0
