long winded trip today but nabbed some h n b! i left plenty for others

managed 12 plax and a few other bits, you know whats it like, just chuck it all in and pay lol, well a few pence i'd challenge anneka on this one :rotfl:

For those of you near Tesco Extra at Bidston.....loads of H&B there today. They are on a table at the end of the make up aisle....also a few along the shelves under the make up. For the more daring...there is 3 boxes behind the table!

Struggled to get my head in the game today after my holidays. First shop met sister (Narla) who gave me some h&b (thank you!!!) but I hadn't done my calculations quite right and stuffed some of the wrong coupons in the wrong piles. Still got toiltries for free, but didn't get much money off rest of shopping. On the plus side managed to get more h&b.... woman was guarding table and offered me 1 leaftet. I asked nicely for more so she gave me an extra 1!!!!! Narla managed to grab some and then distracted her while I went back for more. Left a few though, which were gone within minutes.

Went back for another shop after I left my 2 year old dd at narlas house and wrote out a list and organised coupons better. No h&b on table My fave young lad was on the till but had people in queue and others around him were empty so I pretended to get more shopping and went back to find he had been drafted onto the self scan tills:mad: Chose nice new young lad and he took all coupons in both transactions:T

Got 12 plax and 8 slimfast (for car boot) and extra money off shopping so not too bad in the end after a shakey start.

Also wombled a 5p off petrol in car park so that saved me £2.15 too

I went into my local today and got my usual £30 odd of shopping including 2 bottles of Plax, i always keep it low key, never go over the top, i`m happy with a couple at each shop. I handed over a 1.25 quit and two Plax 1.00 coupons, "you can only use one of these" says the assistant, "we have been told today that someone is coming in and uses loads of coupons against loads of Plax and as they are on BOGOF they are getting it for almost nothing, so we have been told to only take one coupon for every two bottles" she added "the person doing it has drawn it to our attention so we have to put a stop to it"
So thats it with the free Plax then in that store, it had to happen, greed always spoils it in the end. I realise they are due to go half price on Monday but i think they will still be checking how many coupons are being used now it has been highlighted to them.If people kept low profile instead of going OTT this would not happen. It is bound to come to an end at some point what with huge stacks of coupons/leaflets being taken in one go and then loads of coupons being used in single shops.

In my Tescos they have 4 pack Lotus sensitive with 50p coupons on which would scan against anything, however in the Tesco mag there is also a coupon against Lotus sensitive, also 50p, so you can use both together to get £1 off a pack:j They are 1.99 so you pay 99p, not bad for nice soft toilet roll. I also used two of these against my £30 odd shop i mentioned earlier, i did buy just one pack, it shows how if coupons are used to the extreme it is flagged up by staff, as although i could not use two Plax coupons against two bottles of Plax the assistant did put through two Lotus coupons against just one pack of Lotus!

I managed to get myself about 30 sheets of h&b today, wont use them all so i have 15 for swaps on paid to shop (same username)

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it but the glitch is still working on the tesco skin wipes. Buy the £1.49 wipes and it takes off £1.90 for the more expensive wipes. You need to buy the wipes in the blue pack.

Very new to this, but haven't managed to find anything other than the quit packs yet. Do the £2 off £8 healthcare ones work with Plax too? If not, what is best way to spend them? (Please note I don't have a massive selection of coupons to mix them with)

I'm very new to all this..... but I had a good look in both the Lincoln Tescos today but found no H&B leaflets .... I did womble two 5p off each litre of petrol vouchers and a receipt with 14 unclaimed points on it .... not a bad first attempt I thought :T
