Hey all, sorry no new coupons to report, but I thought some of you may appreciate the 'points' shop I did today.
I'm trying to use up the baby club, food club, wine club, CC mailing and two till spits coupons I have.
Bought some baby stuff and other stuff for points and it came to £34.68, after MOCs - £7.32 and
1312 points - so £52 towards a holiday (hopefully) to go with the 3210 points I already have this quarter from mostly H+BI went a bit mad towards the end.
I still have wine to do! Hopefully... 700 points for approx £7 before any MOCs.
Thanks everyone for all your tips etcReclaiming for family and friends. Won 4/13 so farHSBC CC - £263.25, Halifax CC - £179.45, HFC PPI - £589.00, HSBC PPI - £498.86, Lloyds PPI 1 - £4000 -
Anybody else heard the rumour that new H&B coupons are out on 12th September?0

I hunted and gathered Bassetts soft and chewy vits for kids this week..................checked date on them today and discovered they are dated July 2007
No longer have receipt but will be returning them anyway!!!
So if you have any check them so you don't get lumbered!!!!
I honestly think everything of Tesco's that is on BOGOF is old stock hence out of coupons on Radox etc:rolleyes:
Checked my **boxes..all July 20080 -
omega 3 helps with concentration etc though ?
i have def seen an improvement in my children since they started taking these
esp my eldest who has dyspraxia
ermm, I may be wrong, but as far as I am aware omega 3 is an essential good fatty acid and not a vitamin. yes, it's very good. I am thinking more of the vitamins, ie c d a e b b12 etc. I was told by a doctor that children shouldn't be given vitamins unless they have a specific condition that warrants it.
byw my son was diagnosed with aspergers and adhd as a toddler but I learned about artificial food additives around the same time and cut them out of both children's diets. (Its far easier now, because so many companies have cottoned on, whereas at the time ( he is now 9) everyone scoffed at me and I had to read everything) I also made sure they had 5 portions of F&V a day and they eat ANYTHING! And have 3 wholesome meals a day. both drink water. Both my kids have an academic age of 4 years ahead, neither have ever had antibiotics and they rarely get colds etc. I really believe diet and exercise play a part (They walk over 2 miles each way to school too!) and yes omega 3 is a great thing. They do get it from eggs, and a good number of other foods too.
btw NEVER give your kids sugar free drinks They are full of aspartame which is banned elsewhere as it causes hyperactivity AND is a carcinogen. It is even in calpol and paracetamol preps. Ask the chemist for medinol instead if you need paracet for your kids;)
I'll shut up now. Wherever theres a thread about food or the environment I start writing essays!:rotfl:I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...0 -
Ive just been out got 4 Haliborange boxes at £2.12 each and 4 bottles at £3.99 each, used 3 x £2 quit and 6 childrens £1 vits and paid 22p.
thanks for the suggested combo, did one today and found a few more in another store, so should be enough to do another one. great thing to feed OH, he hates swallowing pills, but likes the chewy ones, so these vit would be great, just need to double the dosage for adult.0 -

Anybody else heard the rumour that new H&B coupons are out on 12th September?
12th September is offer change so yes this should be the day we all go on the hunt for the new H&B... If none appear then I'll really start to worry...
The last lot came out around the 18/07 so quite a while back now. I'd expected SB's out Friday just gone but hopefully they'll be some of those too... Think Bassman reported a beauty week starting 12th so roll on Wednesday so I can resume back to normal life.
Also heard something about national non smoking week around 25th Sept... Would be lovely if we get some new qp's just in time to combine old & new qp's as before.0 -
Well a week today we were all clearing the shelves.. the day those lovely shiny coupons expired... Disaster has hit & I didn't get enough food supplies in to tie us over.. I sat for an hour yesterday doing a £50 online order & even with the 1000pt code I couldn't bring myself to checkout... I just can't justify spending money on food.. It makes me feel ill.
Added up all my moc's £22.00's worth so will have to pop in & just get emergency supplies.. Also reported on Mag thread.. Tesco mag has 50p off Nestle cereals in.. Frosted shreddies & coco shreddies currently on offer at 2 for £2.00 so use 2 coupons & that's 2 boxes of cereal for a £1.00... Dreamt of my babes(my couponing fiancé) leadhead shifting a crate of these mags... (amongst other things) would he dare... I think my kids are going to be very useful today, my little wombles.
