I didn't use my coupons over the weekend, didn't have time, so left them on the side for someone else to benefit.

Had a bit of a mixed day yesterday though, regularly scan happy SA referred me to the manager to speak to her about my understanding of coupon usage as she has been told off for taking too many.

Manager explained it's purchased items ONLY and said you can as many as you like, as long as you've purchased the items, she said if you have a £8 heinz voucher, you can purchased a 25p heinz product and that is fine. She said there are a few people who are handing over excess of 10 coupons and this has spoiled it for those few ones they occasionally let slip by.

I'm a bit annoyed that I've put on the spotlight and will go back to using a 2 coupons at a time. I only used about 5-6 anyway, and these include points sometimes! Pah!

I said, o.k then, well HO are saying different, but I would go along with it.

Returned to SA who apologised, but she said she is getting all different signals all the time.

I smiled and said not to worry. Still handed over a few non purchased items coupons, explaining that it's only 2 coupons I'm handing over, manager was standing there, and was fine. Really getting fed up of all this to be honest,will try other standby SA next time and see if she is saying the same.

Morning campers! (OK, only leadhead's camp, morning couponers;) :rotfl: )

I have been a busy bee these last few days but have come to report on my spoils

Well we started the weekend by bunking onto Pontins and haven parks for the day. :j had a swim and played golf and fun was had by all. My DS found £10 in the arcade so he was well chuffed.
Then went to my parents'caravan nearby for tea.

was wanting to stop at the nearby tesco and we didnt leave my parents till gone 930 and the store closed at 10. I got in the store and was flapping a bit over what to get and time was running out.
Anyway I picked up one shop of 6 radox and 3 dailyu care tesco toothpaste. plus added other bits to trolley, then put another shop of 2 elvive conditioners and 2 radoz plus 3 toothpastes in back of trolley, plus bits.
Got to tills, and just one girl on self scan waiting. Thought, no chance here but hey we'll try.

snotty girl ( cos store was closing) puts stuff thru self scan, I start scanning coupons, and she just approves them all!:eek: :j Couldnt believe it! Even when this suited official looking woman came over and started watching, she kept going. kept waiting for official looking woman to stop her but she didnt!

Anyway put through £2.50 H&B, 2x £1 H&B 2 x £1.25 QK and 3x 40p colgate. Also put a few other MOC i had, and bill came to 20p!
Second shop gave same coupons in plus couple others and bill was round the same! was well chuffed.

After doing so well was fired up then and only had sunday left. Thought, astuff it, I'll drive up to one about 10 miles away and have a go. Picked up 2 x 4 packs of fosters on my way with the free coupons a pal of mine had printed for me. Got to the store, first time ever did a double shop. Got 2 x elvive conditioner, 6 x VO5 shampoo. (They didnt have conditioner for colour treated hair, and always use that one cos I highlight mine, so was bit miffed re that! )and 2 x radox. Also for first time decided to do a healthcare shop as had £1 vouchers sent to me, so picked up 2 large packs of cod liver oil at £3.98 on bogof and a pack of tesco ibuprofen ( 33p)

Passed pharmacy so asked if any back to school goody bags and they did! Asked for 2 one each for the kids and she duly gave me 2! (Great they are too!)
picks up about £17 worth of other shopping, picks young lad and piles everything on. handed him 2x £2.50 4 x £1 4 x £1.25 QK £2 healthcare QK and 2 x £1 healthcare and the £1.70 and £1.30 coups in this weeks mail.
lad scans em all, but seems to get confused along the way cos the 3 health ones wouldnt scan
was a bit annoyed at that as not something I'd buy normally. i do use the ibuprofen cos I get migraines and do have some arthritis and joint probs so could use the CLO but wouldnt pay that much for it! lol

anyhow I then hand some mor eover and he says "have you bought this?" I said, yes, but they take them anyway. He looks at receipt, and I'm thinking here we go. Anyway he just carries on scanning then till bill is down to 60p!:rotfl:
I also realised later on checking receipt that when he'd got confused when the healthcare didnt scan, he'd scanned both daily mail coupons twice! :rotfl:
I think I may go and try and swap the CLO for something else. darent take receipt in!


Then yesterday we had a day out for DS birthday and hit 2 tescos while out. No toiletries coupons to use, but the nice young men took £20 of coupons and £10 of coupons respectively. The faces on the people behind me were priceless! One was tutting and grimacing. I only wished I'd had the bottle to say, oh sorry I have forgotten my meat/ cereal/ fruit so i could have slowly got some more and given even more in just to annoy him!:A
man behind me on second shop just looked gobsmacked!

And we had a mega meal for 4 at pizza hut free with pigsback vouchers. AND got a free plate of wedges cos she ordered 2 by mistake!

So a great weekend for us all
