  • Yes, apparantly they are in the process of changing all the tills over...we wait with baited breath lol
  • I've been shopping at Asda as well as Tesco for the past couple of months and Asda has actually been better at taking my coupons off me than Tesco. They take at least 60% every time off my shopping bill which is good for me as my local Tesco look for reasons to reject even their own coupons!!

Forgive me Tesco'ers, for I too have sinned!

Just went to Sainsburys  to shift some store specific vouchers and get rid of my remaining Nectar points cos I never shop there these days.

My god was it expensive in there - absolutely everything I wanted was at least 50p more than Mr T......AND the crone at the checkout carefully read my Sainsbury coupon 4 times before scanning it even though it was one of theirs.

    Cheeesh.....won't be going there again!:p

I just peeled off the 60p vouchers off all the green Radox I have, but they're all out of date - expired in April '07!!

I've sent Radox an e-mail, saying I'm not happy about it, but I don't know what I want them to do about it (I don't want any more free Radox!!!!!!!!).

When I get a response, I'll let you all know. Anyone else have this problem, or was it just my local store selling old stock?

BTW - Sara Lee own Radox, so I wouldn't mind getting some compensatory cakes!

Had a bit of a mixed day yesterday though, regularly scan happy SA referred me to the manager to speak to her about my understanding of coupon usage as she has been told off for taking too many.

Manager explained it's purchased items ONLY and said you can as many as you like, as long as you've purchased the items, she said if you have a £8 heinz voucher, you can purchased a 25p heinz product and that is fine. She said there are a few people who are handing over excess of 10 coupons and this has spoiled it for those few ones they occasionally let slip by.

I'm a bit annoyed that I've put on the spotlight and will go back to using a 2 coupons at a time. I only used about 5-6 anyway, and these include points sometimes! Pah!

Is it wise to use clubcard and/or credit card if using a lot of coupons per shop and not buying the product? Can Mr T check up on us and are there any repercussions?

Personally if I am giving in a load of coupons I sigh and forfeit the clubcard points. I also pay cash. No point using a card for a 50p total now, is there? ;) :rotfl:

yes Mr T can get info about you from your card. This has been discussed elsewhere on this forum. I think if you use it now and then for giving in coupons you should be ok. I used to use mine when doing it, till reading this forum! Now I am more careful
