How so? In case you aren't aware of this, the Wiring Regulations are a MINIMUM standard. There is absolutely nothing to prevent anyone from requiring that work be carried out to a higher standard.0 -
Be my guest create your own “Higher standard” I’d avoid anything going wrong though if you end up in court you can always tell them insurance company told you to do it I’m sure they’ll back you all the way :rotfl:How so? I never said it was my higher standard. I pointed out that BS 7671 is a minimum standard and there is nothing to prevent anyone specifying anything over and above this as a contractual obligation. How do you think there could be? BS 7671 is a non-statutory document.0
