New Fibre BB provider, but keep line rental with BT?

Hi,
I have 6 months left of my BT Line & BB contract.
This week fibre has been enabled to my street, and I could get 77Mbs.
BT want me to pay an extra £16/M to upgrade to 38Mbs unlimited from my std unlimited, this is because I get a discount on my BB which I will lose if I upgrade with them.
Are there any cheap fibre BB providers (without the small print + £xx.xx line rental)?
I'd like to take advantage of improved speed, but am prepared to wait until contract is up and go elsewhere if I have to,
Cheers.

Thanks prosaver,
Just checked them out, but I can't see any without a £16.70 line rental.
Can you post a link please if you see one.0 -
you have to pay the line rental.. maybe wait till your contract runs out... anyway i was offered fiber and didnt get it..i think its mostly for films speed like netflix ect“Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.”

You are pretty much going to have to ride it out for 6 months (or upgrade to to BT Infinity). The only other way you can get (fibre) broadband with another provider is get another line installed (which will be costly).0

TT is an LLU provider, you can't use them for broadband without taking their line rental too.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

As far as I can see, taking fibre broadband involves having to take line rental with the same company as well. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

The distinction is not I think with fibre, but that the main (non-BT) FTTC providers are all LLU, except Plusnet. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

They are only LLU is some areas. There is no reason to be LLU to offer fibre, however, regardless of LLU status they only tend to offer fibre/line rental bundles predominantly. One or 2 offer fibre only but leave the line rental with your existing provider, however there is a premium on this and the monthly fibre cost is greater than a fib re/rental bundle.
As an example, my exchange is so small that no provider has ever considered LLU due to the lack of ROI (feeds 1000 premises). However I have the choice of fibre from any of the providers on the conditions above. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
