something I have never quite understood - if you have a property worth say, £1m and savings of £200k but you have a mortgage of say, £400k on it - "ON PAPER" are you a millionaire or not?

    3, definitely 3 or perhaps 4...

Wait a minute. I forgot to include the money you always find down the back of the sofa.

    6. No more than that.

Mind, you can't trust what people say, can you? Especially when it comes to attracting the interest of Mr Taxman.

    Okay, then. 11

You can buy pillows stuffed with a million bucks (shredded of course).

Buy a few of them; sleep on them; then you truly will be a millionaire on paper!

I'm nowhere near, but I have my health and I'm happy so I feel like Fred Astaire!

I know several multi millionaires. I can't say that any of them are happy.

I probably know a few too, but it's not something which comes up in conversation (thank goodness; I can think of fewer things more boring).

No, because your net worth is 'only' £800k.

No, I'd deduct debts from net worth.

I'll be a millionaire soon probably - I'm helping someone get a couple of billion out of Nigeria. It's pretty simple to be honest - they just needed £500 to help out with the bank transfer fees.

I think that you might have been scammed, the bank transfer fees that I just forked out for a similar situation were only £150. Although that might be because the missing gold from the plane crash is only worth £5m, so I suppose I'm paying a higher percentage.
