Something similar happened to me, with a debenhams card. Any ideas about which authorities to contact?

Strangely enough if it was I did not receive one either, sometimes these things can go astray you know.

The first I knew something was up was when the balance disapeared off my old card.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.

And the inserts which came with at least 3 monthly statements.

Is it not the case that all current LLoyds credit card customers will have their cards switched over to the new Duo on expiry of the old card ? I'd be surprised if another credit check was done on changeover, but as far as I'm aware they would be entitled to do one.
I'm sure I've been sent some form of literature from them to comunicate that.

It's a shame as I used to be an AMEX platinum holder for many years, but in the end voted with my feet and cancelled the card due to appaling customer service from them. Their compensation dept. though was rather good :D.

Who is actually responsible for the admin of the new card, LLoyds or AMEX ?

Be very wary if a card turns up and you know nothing of it.

Tip: Check your credit files with all 3 credit reference agencies. Equifax, Experian & CallCredit.

And if you want protection against this happening then consider www.freeidprotection.co.uk

Credit Files - Maximum £2 each but you can obtain them for free see Martins article.

Online billing but don't tell me you actually read all the junk that comes with the paper statements?
