Thanks out of all the sites listed what ones do you use the most and what is your daily routine I mean roughly on a average day how long do you spend on these sites?
I use Swagbucks throughout the day. A minute or two in the morning doing the dailies and searching. I play SBTV videos throughout the day between doing other things and search randomly whenever I've something to search. I'll spend 20-30 minutes or so normally I guess playing the games or doing a survey/offer if I feel like it. Sometimes longer if it's a longer survey or I do a couple or whatever.
I use another survey site where I spend between 30 seconds on a daily to maybe 10-20 minutes depending on if they have any video offers and how many there are. I often play them between doing other things too.
If I write a review then the amount of time varies based on how long it takes me to write the review and how many other reviews have been put up to read through. I'll usually read through the latest and then check back later on and read more.
So overall, not that long really. Some days more than others. All depends on the offers/surveys and what I feel like doing or if I'm working towards a goal of trying to get amazon vouchers for something.
I use odd other sites at times and not long back I spent a fair bit of time on Bubblews and a while back time on Squidoo. So time spent online varies quite a lot for me but I've always done things around other things rather than spending a set amount of time on one site and focusing just on that.0 -

I don't have a regular routine, I tend to do whatever fits in whatever time I have available. Everyone is different in terms of what suits them - surveys, clicks, tasks etc.
There are lots of threads on Boost Your Income that tell you how to get the most out of practically every GPT, survey site going. Since they are all free to join, why not try a few that you fancy the sound of and go from there.
Survey sites might suit you as that way you will see bigger amounts of money but the time commitment is more -15-30 mins is not unusual, and you will not qualify for every survey and some may not credit.
Sites like Swagbucks, Instagc, Neobux offers smaller rewards for smaller activities that take seconds but it all mounts up. Be aware however that there is duplication of offers, surveys, tasks, videos on different sites, so if you do something on one site you will not be able to do it on another; or if you do, you could find yourself banned from it in future.
If you are concerned with getting max money for your time invested all of these are going to get you some extra money but will not be equivalent to a wage/hour. The philosophy that it is more than you would get for doing nothing is worth holding onto, and if you find that its not enough money then you need to look at the more formalised things I suggested earlier.
Hopefully you will find something that you like.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

I've made a lot of $$ just by selling my old stuff on eBay. Like I had some old laptops that I thought were worthless but I was able to get $300 for one of them and $100 for others that were a decade old!0

That's not usually the case though. Old macs sometimes sell well and some will have parts that can be reused, but most are worthless. Worth seeing what they get, of course, but it's unlikely that most will get a decent amount and you have to remember you have fees and postage. Lot of old laptops are big and heavy and cost a lot to post and might no't be covered if damaged (because of the screens).0 -

Hey guys I have alot of free time on my hands and thought since you are the experts maybe you could you provide me with ideas / ways of generating a income.
I am pretty good at English and would consider myself to be a good writer. I have pretty good IT skills worked as a technician for about 8 years doing allsorts of IT related stuff. I was thinking about making some You Tube videos on computer tutorials / reviews the question is can you make money from this and how to go about it?
Also what are the quick ways / website sign ups / surveys to generate a little income?
Many Thanks for your guidance
I'm going to avoid the survey's route, as I don't personally like the time people seem to spend in order to make a few quid.
What I would go for is certainly You Tube, as there are two ways in which you can generate money (not guaranteed). You can monetise the videos through the Adsense scheme and you can direct traffic to your blog/site if you place a link in the description area below each video.
If you're a good writer then you can join freelancing sites like Fiverr and Freeelancer.com and try to promote your writing talents.
You also mention that you have IT skills. If you're involved in web design and have a your own site(s) then you can really ramp things up with a sign up form. Afterall, the real money is in the list

It sounds like you already have a few ideas, focus on one and get started...if it doesn't work move to another, do some research find out what works in the area your interested in.
The journey of a thousand miles starts with the first step....(I know we've heard that one before...)People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -
From what I've seen, with YouTube, you just post videos, start a channel and build a subscriber list and rack up views. The adverts will eventually pay provided your channel /videos are popular enough and you're invited to the programme (You may not be). I've been reading lots of news articles about people taking home £2K a month from posting animal videos and have gained a following from it.
Stuff like Swagbucks / surveys...more for pocket money. I do surveys too and probably make £100 a month at best. As for IT skills, I'm an IT Techie also....you could offer those skills to people you know. Upgrade slow laptops with SSD drives, reload machines, etc.
Also, someone mentioned old equipment. You can make a bit by refurbing or selling faulty laptops for parts that people don't want. Someone gave me a faulty laptop (was not worth fixing)....I sold it on eBay for £35 as the screen was still good. Other ones, you can take out the memory / HDD. I've accepted some obsolete machines which I've managed to sell on eBay. £10 to ship via courier.
Another way, if you're good at writing...could try writing and publishing an Ebook on Amazon. Some people have done well doing this.0 -

It's not quite that simple, especially for tutorials. To get views you'll do better if you promote the videos and to get subscribers you not only need to keep posting videos but you need good content.
For good content, obviously the videos need to be entertaining, factually correct and informative. The better the quality is the better. You don't need amazing equipment but a half decent camera is needed and you need to make sure the background, lighting and audio are good. There are free editing programmes, but most will have limited features and you need to be able to actually use them.
As I said before, there's also copyright issues for software.
You can put adsense on it regardless of the amount of views (although there are T&Cs), but more views equals more money and if you do well you could become a Youtube partner.
For every animal video that goes viral there are thousands that get less than 100 views overall and probably no money. A fair few viral videos are also companies advertising - they go viral because the companies cause it, it's not a random individual who got lucky.0
