Ideas to make money?

Hey guys I have alot of free time on my hands and thought since you are the experts maybe you could you provide me with ideas / ways of generating a income.

I am pretty good at English and would consider myself to be a good writer. I have pretty good IT skills worked as a technician for about 8 years doing allsorts of IT related stuff. I was thinking about making some You Tube videos on computer tutorials / reviews the question is can you make money from this and how to go about it?

Also what are the quick ways / website sign ups / surveys to generate a little income?

Many Thanks for your guidance

Why have you started a new thread? You have suggestions on your previous thread and could ask for more there. Plus there's loads of different ways listed on here if you read through the forum.

    That's good to hear :)

You sign up for adsense and place ads on your videos. Read the rules/T&Cs carefully though! Make sure content is original, not copyrighted.

So you may have problems with tutorials or reviews for computer stuff if it's software. Software will be copyrighted and you'll need to check if you have permission to show it and see if you can gain permission if not. Some software may be fine, but always check.

You can also include affiliate links to the products you're talking about. If people click the links and buy something you get some money for it.

in terms of sites like Swagbucks can you really make money? sounds like alot of work for pennies.

If so what are some similar sites? or what is your day to day routine?

I bought a laptop using amazon vouchers which were mostly from Swagbucks as well as video games and various other things. Will also be buying a PS4 using amazon vouchers I mostly got through Swagbucks. I've been a member a few years, but not always done much each day. I go through odd months where I spend more time on it.

It won't make you rich, it's not a job, but it's certainly worthwhile. They have a lot of challenges, give out codes for points and have a few very quick and easy dailies, plus a daily bonus for reaching a goal and extra bonus if you reach the goal each day. So even if you only do the dailies and get a search win each day and take part in challenges, it adds up.

I've been on there 5 years, but there have been many months where I haven't bothered much with the site and there are more challenges now than a few years back plus the daily goal. I could have got far more than I have with little effort. I use it more if there's something I want. Like I said, you won't get rich and it's not a job. It's a reward site and one of the best in my opinion.

It's not always that easy to find items to ebay, then there's the fees and postage. Far more time and effort just listing items, never mind packing and sending, than it is to use Swagbucks. If you buy to resell then you're a business.

Swagbucks is well worth a go. It's free and you've got nothing to lose. You can put as much or as little time into as you want and you don't have to focus completely on that site, you can use it inbetween doing other things.

The thing with Swagbucks, Instagc, Neobux and all the other numerous GPT sites is that they do take work but if the time you are using it would otherwise have been spent doing nothing then you are still ahead.

By all means do eBay and YouTube and maybe consider Arise or Lionbridge or similar if you have regular time you can commit. But the survey sites, and GPT sites above can make you extra ££s in your downtime and there's no commitment from you.
