Oven pride didn't work

We moved in and the oven is a mess. We tried oven pride and it make 30% difference. We tried it again and the oven still has big spots. The glass windows are still the same.

We left on oven pride over night every time.

What else is there?

I use a glass scraper on the bottom of my oven and the glass windows/doors.. it works very well to scrape off the burnt on stuff then I rinse with a soapy cloth and polish with a dry one.

We don't have glass scraper but I used a brillo pad and it didn't make any difference.

Mr Muscle spray is the best for light cleaning, for heavy carbon we use Lakeland carbon cleaner.

I used a steam cleaner with detergent and a wire brush attachment to blitz my old oven prior to handing the property back to the landlord - they were notorious for finding the slightest reason for not giving the deposit back.

It pretty much cleaned it back to factory condition - just take care with rubber seals if you use wire brushes.

Look for something called Dr Oven or something like that. Stinks to high heaven but is amazing stuff. :)

    EDIT: It's called Dr Magic.

Pay for someone to come and clean it.

And then use an oven liner.

Glass cleaner was great on the grill door. We didn't get round to doing it on the oven door but will try tonight.

Is there any risk of damage to the oven coating if I use it on that?

EDIT: We've always used foil on the grill tray and a large baking tray on the bottom of the oven to keep our cooker clean.
