Sadly, it looks like the EU ministers have decided to pull the plug on EU wide roaming that was planned for introduction in December this year. See: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/03/05/eu_plan_to_ban_roaming_charges_dropped_youll_just_have_to_pay_that_whopping_great_bill_after_your_hols/

I wonder how long it will be before Three back track on their feel at home offering (hopefully never as I often take advantage) as this was obviously set up in anticipation of the December policy:beer:0

The title is little misleading, the process is delayed until 2018, not actually scrapped.
It seems all the mobile networks lobbying has paid off to keep their roaming cash cow going for (quite) a bit longer.====0 -
I very much doubt if Three will backtrack at all as more than 1/3rd of the feel at home locations would not have been affected by the eu rules.0

I doubt that it is the cash cow that it used to be.
I know that I use Viber / VOIP alot when roaming and bypass the local network except for the occasional text message or brief call. The title is little misleading, the process is delayed until 2018, not actually scrapped.

You'd be surprised, plenty people still run up bills roaming, people tend to be off guard when on holiday and don't pay attention to roaming settings etc.====0
