How would you know that? What's to stop a private landowner copying such signs?Je suis Charlie.0 -

Do they "look like copies" they are lit up and standard Council style posts .
You really think a PPC would go to such lengths to fake a council sign.
You are really starting to come out with some splooge now, have you gone rouge ?
It's a clue it might be council land they have just put their own signs up on and information the OP might be able to use to shut Minster up.
Why exploring this issue would bother you I dont know.

I don't see any PPC signs. I can well believe the University might've put them up.Marktheshark wrote: »You are really starting to come out with some splooge now, have you gone rouge ?
Resorting to childish insults? Oh dear.Marktheshark wrote: »It's a clue it might be council land they have just put their own signs up on and information the OP might be able to use to shut Minster up.
"Might" and "might" being the operative words. "Might" but almost certainly not.Marktheshark wrote: »Why exploring this issue would bother you I dont know.

I'm baffled by almost every post you make. You have an unerring ability to almost make a good point, and then miss.Je suis Charlie.0 -
Just baffled why your posts appear to be fist thumping for the PPC's all of a sudden ?

The 'road' was built on the college land when the redevelopment took place in the 90's - never has been any public vehicular access and it was only ever a glorified bus stop.
Irrespective of the rights/wrongs of the penalties I'm struggling on why people still choose to ignore the (clear) signage to use as their own drop off point.Marktheshark wrote: »As they are a public body, FOI the contract as well they have with Minster.
Good luck with that - YCC don't exactly have a positive track record of telling the truth in (or even answering) FOI requests0 -
I too have received the same penalty letter for driving along the same road, please can someone advise who I appeal to ? Is it Minster Watch and what do I actually say? The photo of my car could be taken on any road anywhere it doesn't display the signs at all. This was a one off and I was entering the college?broadbean13 wrote: »I've been issued a notice to keeper by Minster baywatch for driving through York college bus & taxi drop off road. Ive tried reading the newbie guide to see if the same parking templates apply but unsure?
Should I just appeal based on the same approach as private parking tickets? Many thanks for any assistance.
Any advice / template appeal letter would be much appreciated0 -
Have they quoted POFA 2012 anywhere on the letter they sent.I do Contracts, all day every day.0
