Softstuff I have the same kind of thing on my ankle, out of nowhere a big egg lump lol. Got a scan and they said fatty tissue, and they can pop up anywhere. I hope they don't start popping up all over me lol.
Burtha you generally find the mediums who go after the money are not very good. I know one lady who used to be terrific - she introduced me to the world of spirit and spiritualism when I was experiencing stuff and thought I was going mad. She was very. very good.
Then I met her again recently and found a horrible change - she was doing readings right left & centre, every night of the week. We went along for a reading once, she charged £15 and she was absolutely useless! Very vague info like "there's another Mary in spirit" ... well erm no there isn't! That's what's known as fishing lol. Most Marys do have another Mary in the family - but not me! She went after the money and lost her touch. So sad.

Oh Softstuff, so sorry you have this new worry. I will pray it turns out to be just a fatty lump - they do seem to appear suddenly as if from nowhere. I have a small one on my arm - I woke up one morning and there it was. (((HUGS)))

Hester - what brilliant news! That sounds far more fun than a bungalow :D

Thanks all. I think the concern is the size, not insignificant, but hand sized, overnight. Mardatha did yours appear just kaboom?

In any case, tomorrow will be another set of answers.

    Softstuff

Now I come to think of it - I had a mystery lump at one point on my leg and it grew very fast. Seemed to be increasing in size weekly basically.

Went to the doctor and got told it was a lipoma. As it was increasing so fast and was somewhere where my clothes were soon going to start rubbing on it I got somewhat panicky about it and asked how big it was going to grow. The doctor said he had no idea basically. I've studied "images of lipoma" on google and some indeed do grow very big. But they're totally harmless - just unsightly and possibly might get rubbed by clothes.

I had it removed under local anaesthetic and that was that. End of problem.

So - that's probably (almost certainly) what it is - ie unsightly but nowt to worry about iyswim.

EDIT; just went off for a very quick google about causes of lipomas and one phrase there said that a minor injury may trigger the growth. Well - you've been doing a heck of a lot of DIY - so it may be that you knocked the area concerned and then forgot about it??
