Glad you had such a lovely day monnagran :j Your friends must be so very pleased to have you back.

((HUGS)) Islandmaid, hopefully he'll be in a better mood when he comes home!

Hester Good to see that you made the most of being awake at a ridiculous hour!

Just put some bedding in the WM. Hooray, I'll be able to dry it on the line today :j
  • What a beautiful day, 2 x wash loads on the whirligig in the garden, housework done, steam mopped all the downstairs floors and planning to have lunch in the garden in the sun, happy now (and warm hoorah!).

Daft predictive text had me washing all the downstairs DOORS!!! how does that make any sense as a sentence?

Meanwhile back at the ranch up here, we have still got that cold wind right from Iceland and constant heavy sudden showers. I am still beside the fire knitting bloody socks. I have been beside the fire knitting bloody socks SINCE OCTOBER :mad::mad:
  • Some decent weather here again today - sunny and not too bad a temperature - though still a bit of That Wind...

Anyways....stocked up with local food goodies and various chats later (including one of the aging hippies West Wales attracts a lot of:D - as in "that suits me - as they often like what I like - so it's available for me too").

Time for more work in the garden. Why do workmen think it's okay to trample all over soil in someone's garden - even when they know it's topsoil that has been (downright expensively) paid for? So - I've got some digging coming up to get it back to normal - ie "a garden like wot a garden is supposed to be".

Lots of plants turning up by post over the next week or so. I'm still cheating at the moment and using vegetable plug plants.

Time to ask a builder about how much he would charge me to get some wooden raised beds in....hah....that will stop workmen trampling over that bit of my garden again ever:). You can't trample on a "raised bed" - it's "garden" mate....so :)

Wonders when I will get the first visitor from elsewhere staying here this year.....?

Thank you for the lovely WBs. The wool balls in the dryer worked really well. I got a set of six and used two. Will post link later, must tweak the trike now and get shopping before the shops shut. Have had 6 offline NSDs in a row so can justify some spends.

It's chaos here as its DSs birthday today and there are 4 children rampaging around after having a pizza takeaway party! You really wouldn't think that he was 44 today as he has been rampaging with the best of them. I gave him an Ecigarette, a dozen bars of chocolate and a book entitled "Beer makes Daddy strong" and other lies.

Now I need some help. I had to log in today for some reason, and have been put on the horrible new layout. Please tell me how to get back to the sensible one? I may leave altogether if I can't get back, I HATE this one.

In the user control panel should be an option to manage forum version, select that and the green format will magically appear.

I have to use the green version too and ordinarily I like a new format. The new MSE format is completely unworkable for me though.

It's at the bottom on the left hand side of user cp monna :)

oh 'eck ignore above. That's instructions for the green version which you don' have! I will put the fluffy version on and try help. We can't have monna quiet.

Ok, when you're in the OldStyle part looking at all the threads right at the top is the profile button, click that then scroll down to settings, click that and that what nargle said is on the left panel at the bottom.

Editing again to say is it possible to blame a tablet for shockingly poor grammar? I didn't think so :o
