EE broadband future with BT?

Hi
A few years ago I moved to Orange/EE as I got a great deal of line rental, unlimited BB, unlimited daytime and weekend calls and 500 minutes of calls to mobiles for £20 per month!
I was thinking of moving to BT mainly for the better router but as EE is to be taken over by BT would it be best to wait for the merger and expect BT to honour the current EE contract?
TIA

BT will have no option but to continue your current contract: When they buy EE then they buy the contracts with it, and nothing will change until your minimum term expires.
You don't need to be a BT customer to buy a HomeHub.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
When my EE minimum term expired they rang to see if I wanted a new one. I pointed out what I was paying and they were really surprised and said they couldn't offer anything better and kept me on these terms on a month by month basis.
The EE hub is pretty good so I would wait for a free BT one if I did move over before the full merger, but thanks for pointing out that they can be bought.
