Looks like its fried.... Is it still within warranty??0

Flashing firmware is one of the most dangerous tasks to undertake on any peripheral (or motherboard!)
The Firmware is telling the device what it's purpose on this planet is, without it, it is a Blind, deaf, mute!
The normal common cause of failure is if power is lost during the flashing process.
It will normally cope if you try to flash an incorrect/corrupt file in the way espresso mentioned earlier.
Sounds like a doorstop.
If it is within warranty, try to return it, but for heavens sake don't mention you tried to flash the firmware! just say it stopped working.0 -

Why???
Netgear tell you to upgrade and some of thier routers actually have tools to fix upgrades that have gone wrong... It seems like this router does have problems with flashing going wrong and its actually on netgears own forums and they have been replaced no problem.0
