Calor LPG - renegotiating price while under contract?

I am currently 18 months through a 24 month contract with Calor for our LPG. We are paying over 50p a litre, where as we know that they are currently offering LPG at around half that price.

Would it be worth a phone call to see if they would re-negotiate our price for the remainder of our contract? Does anyone have any experience of this? One thing I do not want to do is to be put on a further 12/24 contract at the moment with Calor as I would like to move t a different supplier once our contract ends.

You might want to search/read the thread Bulk LPG - Cheapest suppliers / supply route? which is sticky at the top of the page where this sort of question is regularly posed in one form or another.

The answer is yes, but be prepared to haggle with them.

I did look through about 30 or so pages on that thread but couldn't see anything from anyone trying to re-negotiate with Calor mid-contract, while not extending their contract.
