Please can anyone advise?

Hello there, hope anyone can help me.

I currently have three cards all with around £1000 on them. I have recently applied to card issuer to try and put all the balances onto one and save some money. I was however refused, suggesting my credit score was to blame. I therefore joined experian and obtained my credit score which is good ( it was excellent but came down due to the credit search). I also obtained my credit score from equifax which is only fair. This is due to the fact that I missed three payments on a credit card 12 months ago due to divorce problems. What i cant understand is why it has penilised me so much on equifax and not experian. Incidently the company I applied to for a 0% balance transfer completed checks on both experian and equifax.

Can you please advise me on which card could possible accept my application as I am desperate to reduce my credit card bills.

Thanks in Advance

Right, i do not wish to pry into your personal finance of course, but do any of those cards have a 3000 limit on? it could be possible to pay the 2 off, with the one with the higest limit then to just have the one, though never use the other 2 again?

if not, try Yorskhire bank, they are very good with this sort of thing, and also natwest, so i hear.
