Hummingbird's Progress....Well it's time she made some!

I did thanks Westie - it's just as well I went into town, as I'd actually forgotten I was due to meet a friend this afternoon - I'd arranged it with her before I went to my Dad's but I hadn't had my diary with me at the time and I'd forgotten to put it in there when I got home!! No problems though we met up as planned and had one of those breakthrough times when we pooled our ideas and sorted lots of things out. We've done a college course together and also worked together, delivered trainings together etc and we always seem to come away from meetups with lots of inspiration!

Cant believe its nearly Friday again....

Just got home, dinner is cooking then this westie is planning to chill :-)

I had my GP appointment this morning - it went really well and the doctor seemed pleased with my progress so far... I told him about the two phone counselling sessions and the referral for CBT. We then talked for a while about some natural over-the-counter products I can try - he is still reluctant to put me on meds at the moment, although he said I was displaying classic symptoms of anxiety disorder.:o Another appointment in 4 weeks to check in and see if I need the meds.

I told him about the difficulty I'm having making decisions, even small ones... I haven't written much about that on here but it's been really horrible and makes me feel so stuck in one place.

On the good side I've been doing a few things that I've thought of myself, just simple ideas like going back to having a notepad and pen handy to jot down things that I need to do, even down to replying to someone's email or something I need to tell someone. The doctor told me that sort of thing will be part of CBT, and I will get things like this formalised for me, and helped to integrate into my routines. :T

Overall feeling very optimistic about it all and a way through the fog will be found:j

It sounds like it was positive news from the doc Hummingbird, well done. :T Keep on keeping on lovely, sounds like you're making loads of progress and I'm sure the CBT will help greatly when you get to go to those sessions.

I still haven't done the online CBT It's finding the time these days...
