I've spent all afternoon at the hospital today, from about 1.30 -6.00pm, firstly had to get some final paperwork for the volunteering sorted out and go and collect my badge... photocard ....which has two stripes straight across my face haha:rotfl: due to their printer being broken (which it has been for about 6 months apparently!) So lots of people have badges like that, and as long as it works that's fine - I can get a new one printed when they've fixed it (if they do:rotfl:) The great thing is that this card gives me freebies..... unlimited free bus travel on weekdays and free coffee:beer: Say no more, Birdie is happy!:D

Then had my 2nd telephone counselling session which I took on my mobile at the hospital ready for the radio show, which was straight after.

The counselling by phone is now over, I'm going to be referred for future sessions at my GP surgery, which is great as it's so near home. He didn't say if it's CBT, I'm presuming it will be.

Have my next GP appointment on Friday as well, so the timing has worked out well on that as I'll be able to update him on how the counselling went.

Hey gorgeous!! Sorry for no check in. So glad you have had a good time away with your dad and you're right it is great to get off the grid sometimes!! Just goes to show the internet is not conducive to sleep!!

Well done on your awesome progress and getting through the mail and the counselling. I panicked when I saw you had been at the hospital in your first sentence :rotfl: glad you're healthy after my mini heart attack!

^^ Oh sorry Lilty and Westie! I hadn't realised how that sounded - don't worry I didn't spend the afternoon in A&E !!!

It's lovely here today, I'm really tempted to go out for free with my brand new badge, just because I can:cool: ..... you know what, I think I will, I could do with celebrating:j Got loads to do but it will still all be here to do anyway and I'll just have to fit it all in faster iyswim xxxx (Including the garden which is looking err....unpresentable haha)
