Brand new week, brand new start. I've just written that on Westie's diary and I liked it so I've put it on mine now! :-)

Something strange has happened to my reply box and it's gone almost off the side of the page, so I'm just using the quick reply instead. Hope I can figure out what's happened with it!

Hope everyone had a good weekend.... I've made a couple of extra phone calls this morning to sort out some details of payment arrangements, and have opened the post, all good. In fact I don't think I'll be so worried about the post now I've rearranged and sorted a lot of things out at the end of last week.

I've been thinking as well about the fact that you can't always sort absolutely everything out all at once and that you don't have to - just live the day that you're in, and do what needs to be done as a priority on that day. Then do the same the next day and the next...... it's been helping a lot to think in the one-day-at-a-time frame of mind.

    Morning (well afternoon!)

I did have a good weekend but am enjoying my peaceful Monday with the little un at Nursery after a fraught nights *sleep* - she is fine this morning. Like her father she burns it off overnight. Frighten me to death the pair of them.

Re the new phone, I think it is the right thing for me. It will allow me to earn interest on the £600 for the time I am paying it off for free :)

And work out how to pay for it without using savings ;) I've a £400 charm bracelet eco watch that runs from light. Reckon it has been sat in a box for 4 out of the last 5 years of ownership. I dip it in my dinner :rotfl: so I don't wear it! reckon I should sell it!

As for your sage words... well done on sorting things out. Good for you :) and the saying 'Rome wasn't built in a day' is one I always keep close by. Balance living with doing :) nothing is a waste of time, because the time would disappear regardless of whether you were doing something or not. :)

I lived one day at a time for a long while when I couldn't think any further forward than that. It kept me from going insane. Sometimes I had to separate it into 10 minute blocks. Eventually I made it to one hour, then 2... and finally one day at a time. Now I can plan things without a coronary ;) xxx

Got my reply box centred again! :j

Thanks for what you've said there Lilt. I've been going through this phase of feeling as if I can't do anything because of the debt. However you can't spend all day every day dealing with your debts and getting on with all the other aspects of living is so important.

Sounds like a good plan to sell that bracelet/watch - could be a great way to raise some of the funds you need for your phone. I need some fresh inspiration of items I can sell.....

Hey lovely!! Just been catching up :) Firstly your summer song list for your radio show is awesome!! Vengaboys and Aqua's 'Barbie Girl' are my favourites :rotfl:

Secondly, regarding the coffee convo - I also prefer Costa and have the rewards card. Starbucks are getting rid of the cappuccino and replacing it with 'flat white' - my OH is not impressed!! I don't care though as I'm a latte girl :)

And finally, I love love love your post that you did earlier. I am trying to have a similar way of thinking as everything can be so overwhelming when you have a huge mental to-do list. Breaking it down is the best thing. "Rome wasn't built in a day" is good Lilty :)

    Much love xxx
