Jet2 Flight delay

Upholstery
Jet2 are trying every trick in the book to avoid paying compensation.
They are NOW saying that I did not bring legal proceedings against Jet2 in the two years succeeding my flight, and I agreed to their terms and conditions during the booking process which stated that any legal proceedings should be brought not more than two years after the scheduled date of arrival, I no longer have right to make a claim.
Anyone out there having the same experience ?
Looks like the next move is solicitors ?
