When a P&O chartered flight is delayed...

I was on a P&O Caribbean cruise in Feb 2011 with flights to and from Barbados on Thomson Airlines. On the return journey, the flight was delayed by 2 days! I have the flight number, time, date and P&O booking reference number and submitted my claim via the template provided here. Thomson have written back saying they cannot process the claim as I have not provided the booking reference number but as P&O chartered this flight for the cruise, there is no other reference number to provide (as confirmed by P&O when I rang to ask for it). Nor was there any direct contact between me and Thomson that I can provide as it was all handled by the cruise company.

Any ideas what I can do next? Has anyone else who has gone on a cruise and had flight delays in this situation managed to receive their compensation?

1) Post should be on Thomson thread
2) Read Vauban's guide first
3) Issue Thomson with NBA thereafter
4) Decide upon DIY or NWNF 14 days or so later
5) Enjoy your compensation.
