I have this card, and it’s great. Allows you to withdrawcash at home or abroad , with no charge, or additional interest.
I know Santander have now stopped issuing this card. Andmines is due to expire towards the end of this year.
What happens then? Do they still reissue me with it? Or willthey close the account and shift me onto a new card?
Any ideas???

They'll tell you if they are withdrawing it, at least 60 days before yours expires.0

Being closed to new business and being withdrawn are two separate things. It isnt uncommon for banks to close products to new customers and keep a back book of customer on in run off.
At times they will decide that the backbook is no longer sustainable to continue running and will either close the accounts and/ or migrate them onto a modern product. They will have to give you written notice prior to this happening and normally exceed the 4 weeks or whatever the T&Cs say they must give you by some way.
In the meantime your card will continue to expire/ be replaced as normal. Both my current account and credit card with Barclays are expired products and have been for a couple of years now but everything continues to go on as normal.0 -

Yep mine's recently been replaced too. So don't worry!
They have rate-jacked me to 34.8% APR. No problem, as I use it principally for foreign ATM withdrawals and send payment a few days later. But I do now use Clarity instead - 12.9% APR (I think) - and £500/day limit rather than Zero's £300/day.
I still use Zero from time-to-time so they don't cancel it.0 -
Mine was replaced recently. Wasn't aware there was a £300/day cash withdrawl limit, despite using it in other countries a lot. Though for anything that large, I'd just pay with it directly with the card. Anyway, it's a good card. Whatever you do, don't cancel it. It'll save you a fortune on holiday!0

Certainly good to keep but there are now 2 alternatives on the market so wouldn't be a massive issue if Zero is closed down.

It's certainly worth having a second card with free overseas cash withdrawals. On a recent trip to Brazil and Argentina my Santander Zero card was cloned in Brazil, so I had to cancel it as soon as I saw a suspicious transaction, leaving me with no cards for free cash withdrawals. Fortunately the money for Argentina was in USD cash, so didn't need the cards any more.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0
