Could be away on a holiday, taking a break etc, or just waiting to see what comes out of the Beavis case, and the CEL criminal court case.

One thing for sure is that the amount of

"Help URGENT URGENT I've been fined £100 by Scumbag parking for overstaying/parking slighlty over some poorly marked lines/parking a magenta car in a bay for red cars etc etc. At the moment the fine is £100 with an early bird discount of £40 but if i dont pay soon the fine will go up to £100 Help help help"

Type posts are still cropping up at least there's the sticky thread

I think all regulars need a sabbatical from time to time. The mind-numbing, repetitive 'I can't find a case that exactly matches mine' (aka 'I parked at 10:03; I've found others where they parked at 10:02 and others where they parked at 10:04, but none at 10:03 - help, help, help, what can I do, will they take my telly? I can't possibly live without Corrie!'), just wears you down.

While I still read all the threads, I'm being a bit more selective, of late, in responding. No doubt I'll revv back up in a few weeks time, I'm sure. Just taking a slight breather, after more than 2 years' of flat-out keyboard pounding; I'm sure that will help me regenerate.

The strategic stuff continues to significantly interest me - PE/Beavis, CEL/DEAL, BPA Monday Musings, Fergie76's epic battle, airport/railway bylaws, DVLA complaints, BPA to IPC haemorrhage, IAS nonsense, Pranky's blog, and similar, all keep me motivated and, for ever, focused.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I can assure everyone that Coupon Mad, along with a number of other regulars on here, is working just as hard as ever, but now doing so on behalf of an appeals company, whose name I won't mention in case Quentin starts getting jealous of our gleaming new Aston Martins sitting in the driveways of our luxury seven-bedroomed mansions.

All I will say is that we are experiencing a very high success rate, and have even won some IAS appeals as well as all the POPLA ones, obviously.

But I emphasise that all the information is freely available on here and Pepipoo for anyone prepared to do the research and do the work themselves. For those without the time or inclination to do that, a paid service is available. It's your choice.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

    Hello all, :D

As bargepole says, a few of us have been somewhat busy but I heard about this thread so popped back to say hi, keep up the fight!

I just haven't got the time to post much on here or on pepipoo at all right now...think of me at midnight because I am not asleep in my bed, nor posting the twilight shift here. Can't mention what's keeping us busy, so I won't. I do pop back here sometimes for links and templates though!

I do not have an Aston Martin yet! :)
