Tuesday 3 March - What small DFW things will you do today?

Hello all
I'm new to this but feel really inspired by the DFWs so thank you so much!
I have a few BIG things I need to do this evening (check all my finances and get serious about clearing my debt) but today while I'm at work I'm going to do a few small things...
Get some sandwich supplies to make my own lunches for the rest of the week
Plan some meals to cook from scratch for the rest of the week and make a sensible shopping list (otherwise when I go grocery shopping I will just buy loads of crap)
Cut up credit cards

Morning all,
Absolutely NITHERING outside today, despite the lovely sunshine. Come on Spring, get a wriggle on!
Ziggy - Kitchen sounds great. I love having a bit of a makeover.
Not exactly bursting with energy today as woke up at about 2.30 am & didn't get back to sleep. Never mind, this is my bit of a list:
*Did the last of this week's laundry overnight on Economy 7 tariff. On airer. Should really be pegged out in this gale, but forecast said sleety rain showers, so I went for the cautious option.
*Watered seeds & moved chilli babies to unheated propagator.
*Sowed pepper seeds & more flowers (flower seeds were free).
*Topped worm composter up with goodies....shredded bank statements, empty flour bags & a bowl of tasty veggie peelings. Am tempting them up to the top layer as I want to harvest 2 trays of compost from the unit soon.
*Posted ebay package.
*Updated grocery budget.
*Checked March budget again as have swapped so many funds/categories that I wanted to check I hadn't made any silly errors. It looks right, but I will check online banking regularly this month just in case anything rears its head.
*Paid £100 into credit card account as we put a purchase on there that we had the cash for. I find this takes discipline, but it does help to build up points for M&S vouchers (or John Lewis vouchers if it's my card).
*Discovered that MOT is due end of this month. We were sure it was May. That made me check the car tax due date. Also end of this month. Oh, poo!! Checked Car Pig (emptied out recently for car service) & we can cover the MOT bill from there. Will get car tax from post office between pay-day & 31st March. Silly mistake to miss these. Not like me at all. Have put them on the annual planner in my filofax so I don't do it again. What a trolley!
*Did a few surveys. Up to over 63,000 points again on Toluna. Onepoll a bit slow at the moment. I keep getting kicked out for being married & not having children. Bah!
*Start next week's meal plan. Early, but mr f announced this morning that he's found another £9 off a £60 shop voucher in his wallet, so is making noises about maybe calling into Sainso's on Thurs on his way home from work.
*Made tomorrow's packed lunch & work snacks.
*Downstairs heating off till 5pm.
*Piggled a stamp.
OK, must get some lunch now, & get started on my afternoon.

Oh hang on, meant to add this:
Yesterday I mentioned I was using some of the leftover 'rubber pork' to make pork hash? Well, I made it for dinner, & all I did was heat a couple of tsp oil in the wok, added 2 chopped onions, 2 crushed garlic cloves, 1 chopped stick celery & stir-fried till nearly cooked, then added about 8oz chopped up leftover roast pork, 2 tsp dried herbs & 3/4 tin of sweetcorn, stirring till meat was heated through & a few bits starting to brown, then I added 800g cooked potatoes which I'd chopped up/crushed a bit. Some salt & pepper & I served it up with a bit of veg & a drizzle of home made brown sauce. So....nothing very gourmet there. mr f thought it was delicious, asked when we're having it again (which will be soon, as these quantities made enough for a good-sized dishful for the freezer too) & kept saying every few mouthfuls how nice it was. As we often roast a pork joint because it's good value at the moment, & I do get a bit bored of making stew with the leftovers, I will definitely make pork hash again. mr f has a colossal appetite, so that was a result, lol!

Well I spent most of the day at the shop, cleaning. The electrician fixed the 2 sockets fine, and my windows are now sparkling.

The cat brought a dead mouse into our room in the middle of the night which Mr had to deal with as I was zonked. But he is shattered today so I think its an early one for us tonight.
