Best deal on 32" TV with 2+ HDMI sockets?

Last night's storm destroyed the HDMI sockets on our TV & apparently the cost to fix is £200+ So for around that price, what's the best deal on a decent 32" TV with at least 2 HDMI connections? Probably not relevant but not used for live TV at all, just connected to X-box & computer so used for iPlayer, Xbox as DVD player, computer monitor etc.


I have searched & can find plenty of very cheap 32" TVs (Blaupunkt seems to be one) then Samsungs at around £219.

Even with a single HDMI port, (though haven't seen any with just one recently), you can buy an HDMI 3 port switch box for about £13.

Richer Sounds, who will beat any price, have a Panasonic at £229, but you get £10 off if you join the VIP club.


Blaupunkt, were the cheapies involved in the Black Friday grabs. The name is familiar from the days when they made good car stereos, but this name was sold on and now represents the lower end of the market.

The Blaupunkt brand is the German equivalent of Technika, so will be badge jobs sourced from anywhere cheap in Asia. No chance of parts or repairs.
