Bundle talk unlimited ,which only gets used lightly as mobiles in home .
TV size M the box is disconnected as we use our free view.
Fibre Broadband M up to 20 mb at present we get between 13meg to 18 meg but if kids use tablets buffering can start which isn't good

Can you play the bill by direct debit, and not bother having a paper copy? That would cut £6.75 straight away with no negotiation needed (I'm assuming of course, that's what the 'payment handling' charge is for.)0

Yes I can but in the early days I got told by friends about false numbers on there bills and virgin charging more, then helping themselves to your direct debit, so I've always paid at the shop so I can see my bill and make sure its not over the top before paying for it0

But you can 'see' your bill online well before the DD is taken, and query it before then if necessary. That's just crazy, because you are paying £81pa just for a paper bill and non-DD payment. Unless the landline calls amount to more than the cost of Talk Unlimited, then why not downgrade that?
It seems that you are not using either the TV or the phone, just the broadband service.
If you want a new provider then you'll need a BT-based line provisioning or reconnecting first, so factor that in.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Have a look at:
http://www.sky.com/shop/offers/switch-to-sky/
Try to get a retention offer from Virgin Media.
You should preserve all the online statements you can.
Save the e-mail addresses and forward all the e-mails you need to save. Once shutdown, you cannot use the old e-mail address again.
If you are serious about switching, there are cashbacks to be had.0 -

Just switch to broadband only, or broadband + phone if you need a landline.0

Thanks very much for all your replies ,yes I know some of this is my fault but I've been with VM for years and just let the bill run away with its self ,the reason I posted was for advice as other will be more switched on with moving supplier more often for better deals,I will try to get a retention deal first ,if not might need to move to another0
