Daligas Fix 12 March 1st
FYI
I changed from Daligas to NPower last week, then they dropped their price from today with a new Fix 12 deal GRRR!
Standing charge cut by just over 50%, a bit of a reduction in the kWh rate + a possible £17 cashback is tempting me to go back.
I think that you may be paying from the date you join now, not after a months grace, only someone who joins up could confirm that as the comparison site may have it wrong?
This is one time I wish that a utility had asked me to stay.
I don't work for Daligas or I would have told them to sort this out before :rotfl:
I hope this helps someone thinking of changing supplier as every penny counts :A

You are right -- I am with Daligas and didn't realise they had dropped their tariff. Will existing customers automatically move onto the new rate?
BTW, if you value your sanity, I would avoid Scottish Power.Je suis sabot...0 -

With Daligas, you always have paid the monthly direct debit in advance.0 -

As you are currently on a fixed tariff, I doubt they will unfix the price you agreed to
However, with no early exit fee, you could switch to another supplier on a tariff with no early exit fee, (don't forget possible cashback!) and then switch back to Daligas for the latest prices fixed for 1 year0 -

and I can only speak from my own experience with DG
UPDATE
After looking at the current T&C's DG do indeed say about paying DD in advance.
I can't say this is other customers real life experience based on my own billing as DG didn't move that fast on repaying credits or on outstanding debit.
My new suppliers are both taking their first DD payment in April, I will have to check their T&C's to see what they say.0 -
Joined DG Nov 21st, ...
As you joined in November (2013) then you would have been mid-cycle of your annual billing plan, so being aware of the change in their fixed tariff w.e.f. yesterday would not have affected you decision to switch supplier - you would still be on the tariff you effectively agreed to November 2014 until November this year (which I believe was not changed from, when you first applied in 2013)
I would recommend people consult a comparison site to find the best deal for them. e.g. Zog energy would still cheaper than Daligas even with their latest prices, for many users in many regions.
Note that neither Daligas nor Zog will serve gas customers provided via an IGT0 -

nPower, like all the big 6, do not typically charge in advance.
It tends to be the newer, smaller suppliers that charge in advance as it presumably aides their cash flow (and perhaps helps alert the supplier earlier if the customer is not paying enough each month for their usage)0 -

But I thought that Daligas operated a "one price" policy. There are not a huge range of different deals to be had.
I had better read my T's & C's....Je suis sabot...0 -
