  • Hi all :)

Had started my own microsoft word diary recording my 'made' money, but thought this might be a nice place to record it too and to learn more tricks!

I record anything I've made or saved as a bonus from buying anything I would have bought anyway. I hope you don't mind but I thought I'd copy in my last few months successes and my to do list for this month. So far my success are at £344 for 2015. I would like to save 1k over all:

    January: (+£100?)
Bought cat <3 Cheapest cat insurance – waiting for £25 j/l cashback on £co
£50 Amazon voucher from gas and elec switch (bought a bin and cat litter with it).
Haggle and complaint with internet provider - agreed same price as previously £5pm less then market and £50 credit to account.
    Extras:
    Free furniture from relative!
Called up old utility and got almost £150 of my money back the cheeky blights weren’t going to return.

    February (+£244)
2 x £20 Ebay voucher (Returned first item bought as sadly faulty and so ended up spending £4.21 only on mascara, foundation and bike lock costing £44.21)
Started student course - Used student card to get cheaper rail travel saving £58pm (Bought 3 months + £174) Down side is I get home later as have to walk to further train station and catch later train. Plus side is walk extra miles increasing fitness as longer commute to work and can travel to Uni and into town for free.
Received +£30 cashback gas and elec switch :money:

March yet to do (aiming for £100):
Amazon £5 off voucher for buying £20 voucher (Use for money off two bags of catfood)
Claim tax back on professional registration £18?
Claim back tesco clubcard voucher £30
    Link nector card to ebay
    Chase £25 j/l cashback on £co
    Review mobile phone contact
    Buy holiday insurance – cashback?
Book advance train tickets for holiday
Assess if on best bank account: currently get £7.69 cashback on mort and utilities + £5.58 interest - £2 account fee = £11.27 roughly
19/12/14: Spent 10 years of savings!!
:heart2: ..... to buy my first home. :heart2:
    11K OP 31.03.19

Current goal: €151,000 deposit Ireland and counting, to buy Spring 2022 we hope!

Found £2 coin wedged in the hoover... possibly worth more than £2 as I was about to replace the knackered hoover.
    £5.70 - mileage payment.

All gone into my spare change jar.
