New Nokia 735 asking for Voicemail number?

Hi all

I have a new Nokia Lumia 735 but have kept my old phone number on EE. I missed a call today and when I went to retrieve the message, it is asking me for a voicemail number? Can anyone help please?

TIA

I'm guessing it's not stored within the settings so it's asking you to define a mailbox number?

    If so:

    1) Tap Phone and at the bottom right hand corner you'll see three dots. Tap here and 'settings'.
    2) Under Voicemail number enter: 07953 222222 for EE 4G, 07973 100123 for Orange or for T-Mobile dial 222 to activate Voicenmail.
    3) For the EE and Orange option(s) tap the back key and it'll saved it for next time.

Does voicemail need the full number, or just 123? (Orange).

Are you referring to Carrot Cake's question or have you the same issue?

I'm guessing you could input 123 but I don't own a Lumia Phone so wasn't sure if it'd accept 123 or required the full number.

Was just a question out of curiosity, as to why EE and Orange require full numbers, yet T-Mobile only require the 3 digits.

I'm with giffgaff and voicemail is simply a 3 digit number (443).

That information was gleaned from the EE website.

From memory of using T-Mobile in the past dialling 222 the first time assigned you your voice mailbox number.

Am guessing once the service was activated holding down the '1' key would direct dial the call.
