Reducing price of EasyJet Flights?

Hi All,
I've read the help page about reducing the cheap flights cost - but it's not that I need help with - I hope.
I have monitored the prices of flights between Bristol and Tenerife South with EasyJet and I have seen them go up and go down for what appears to be no apparent reason.
I could understand if more people had booked flights and the number of seats available had gone down but they haven't.
I have deleted cookies and tried different ways of connecting including different laptops etc but to no avail.
Am I doing something wrong or is there something I can do? I'm not after a promo code as I have never come across one that has worked!
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I could understand if more people had booked flights and the number of seats available had gone down but they haven't.How do you know that?
I'm guessing they are going into the booking process and seeing how many seats are still available for selection. Of course, that only indicates how many people have paid to reserve seats in advance, not how many have booked...I've read the help page about reducing the cheap flights cost - but it's not that I need help with - I hope.

It's not very clear what you are actually trying to achieve here. Are you just waiting for the fare to go down to a specific price? There is no real way to predict that.
If you have a budget and the fare is at or close to your budget, would suggest you book. easyJet have a price promise that if you find the fare has gone down after you book (excluding any sale or promotion they launch), they will give you a voucher for the difference.25.1 If You have, or the Booker on Your behalf has, made a Booking directly through the Website and You, or the Booker, subsequently find that lower fares (when taken together with all applicable fees and charges) for the same easyJet Flight have become available, You will be refunded the difference as a credit voucher against future Flights on easyJet. The only exception to this “price promise” is if the lower fares have been offered as part of a promotional offer that is launched after You have purchased the Flight. For the avoidance of doubt, this Article 25 will not apply to any Booking made on Your behalf by any licensed third party booking systems (e.g.: travel agents, screen scrapers) or through easyJet’s Call Centre.]0 -

I'm looking to go on Oct the 13th and return on the 24th
I thought easyjet's pricing was a case of only having x number of seats at a certain price then it would go up, then x number of seats at a slightly higher price and it goes on.
I was also under the impression that cookies could track that you were interested in a flight and therefore it could inflate the price. Hence why I thought deleting cookies could reduce the amount back to what I saw before.
I could be wrong on both parts. I'm not the sharpest crayon in the sky.
I just don't really want to pay more than I have to - who does. But I don't really want to be given credit for further flights back.
I did go through the while booking process to see the complete overall amount. Hence I saw no further seats had been booked. Unless you are right and they don't allocate seats to those who have booked flights but not reserved seats. Which makes sense on one hand but I'm not so sure on the other.0 -

That is broadly how their pricing works - which is why everyone is suggesting you buy as soon as you're happy. The price could go down (e.g. if no one was buying) but it's more likely to go up.
No cookies don't do that, though it's a commonly held misconception which many people swear blind happened to them (despite being unable to demonstrate it, without exception!), so don't be too hard on yourself!
They are right, they don't allocate seats until you either pay for it or you've checked in. Most airlines don't.0 -

You're not exactly wrong there, it's just a lot more complicated. They will only sell x number of seats in any fare band. However, those fare bands themselves will move up and down based on a number of factors i.e. how well a flight is selling, if there is a sale on, comptetition, popular dates etcI was also under the impression that cookies could track that you were interested in a flight and therefore it could inflate the price. There are people who believe this is the case and some anecdotal evidence. There's others who'll say there's no concrete evidence. It's worth trying though.I did go through the while booking process to see the complete overall amount. Hence I saw no further seats had been booked. The seat map on the website will only show seats which have been reserved by people that have paid to reserve them. this is the same for all airlines. Seats for people who haven't reserved in advance are allocated when they check in.I just don't really want to pay more than I have to - who does.
Of course, no one does. Flight pricing is incredibly dynamic though. In reality only a handful, or even 1 single person, will book the flight at the lowest price it was ever available at. The best you can hope for is to pay a price you are happy with. And with a little monitoring and research one that represents value. Once you've booked don't look again.

Put it this way.
It's Easyjet's (or any other airline for that matter) job to get as much money out of you as possible for their service.
They will have invested a lot more money and time in having the systems and knowledge to do this than you ever could.
Thus meaning the only choice is to book your ticket at a price you're happy with and then don't keep looking at the price afterwards.
There will always be someone on the plane who paid less than you for some part of their travel plans, that's something you should have to live with.0 -

Then I can apply this knowledge to future bookings.
You do have to suppress any instinctive frustrations though!0 -

In my experience the best way to get a low price on EZY BRS-TFS is to be flexible with your dates.
We often end up going for 11, 12 or 16 nights because it can be a lot cheaper
I can't remember prices going down, but they have often gone up0
