Norwich & Peterborough Building Society have a 4% regular savers. You'll obviously need an account with them, but their Gold Classic account is good to have anyway, with free transactions and withdrawals worldwide.
Looks like this could be good. I just need to check I'm not going to run out of money to put in the regular savers at any point. But, seeing as I can withdraw from the Lloyds regular savers at any point I think we are good. Thanks!0 -

It's £160 for the wedding. I thought it would be only a tiny amount of tax savings (as I earn fairly close to the basic rate tax threshold). But, looking at it further, it includes savings income too - so I'm pretty much at the threshold. No marriage for me atm.0 -

hi.
just as curious novice question, why would you take the max £400 out of the lloyds regular saver ? , only to bang in the same to another provider for the same 4% , surely theres nothing to gain in that , or am i missing the point.
i am dealing with our saving investments and i am almost there , i struggle & have had great help of this site.
today im going back to lloyds to open another two lloyds clubs, after we have opened 2 tesco internet savers for the d/d which i struggle on , but slowly getting there. i have given 40 days notice on a 20k isa to further invest on april 1st,

This is basically for cash flow purposes. My regular savers are not all equally spaced and they are for different monthly amounts. That means that there is a variable amount in them at any time. On the months with the most in I might have been getting short on money to put in (Lloyds solves this issue) but for the majority of the months I would have plenty in Santander at 3% which is less than the 4% offered by the new regular saver.0 -
The Norwich and Peterborough Regular Saver pays 2% not 4%. Just checked their website.0

Yes indeed. Thanks for pointing that out. Sorry for misinformation.0
