Morning all
Kyle - Hugs to your little one - must be so disheartening for you all.
Suns shining and we're off to the beach for the day - food's all done and in the fridge ready to go in the cool bag - we're all up, showered and dressed ready to go.....just need to chivvy the girls into getting their bags ready to go. DD2 can't swim because of her broken arm but luckily as it's not in a cast she can get it as wet as she likes.
The landlords visit last night went ok - they want to put the rent up by £100 per month  I told them we can only afford an extra £50 - like it or lump it (not sure when I got so assertive) but it seemed to pay off - he's going to confirm it to us early next week. :T
Ooops just realised I need to go the post office - better dash - hope you all have a great day."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

We are off to the lottie in a mo to water!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and plant out the strawberry runners into the new strawberry bed, I also want to move a water barrel we have 3 grouped togetehr and I could do with one halfway down the garden.
Its a bright sunny morning so we need to get going before it gets too hot, so I'll say cherrio for now................September grocery budget........trying for £80, not sure if I will make it though!!!!! I certainly did not last month, lost track of the final bill. Will do better this month honest.

Hello everybody,
Kyle Big sloppy kisses to Kyle from me.Poor little mite. Hope he feels comfortable soon.
dlb Have a lovely time away.
:wave:Ivyleaf & Lillibet It's always nice to see that you're ok.
Had a busy day here. Spent the whole day over on the mainland. DH had to go to the specialist and then he had to have a Cat Scan . We have to make another appt with the specialist to get the results. It's to do with his nose & sinuses.
When we were loading stuff in the car DH slammed the boot down but forgot one crucial factor - me still standing there  Bang, on my head. I could have cried it hurt so much. I didn't even swear.
Well off to do the dishes. Just had our tea.Enjoy your day. ByeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Morning all,
Kyle - sorry to hear about LO.
Does anyone else get on the PC and find they end up reading so many different threads that half the day has gone? I swear the PC sucks the life out of you
Meeting up with a friend for lunch mid-way between us in Woodstock. We meet up about every six months or so and have a good old natter and lunch. Looking forward to it but not looking forward to the hours car ride to get there! NB: Must find an open garage to pump up tyres. Our local one is still closed. We think the electrics must have been damaged in the floods.
Went to bed late, up at 2:30 and then 4:30 to let Bailey-cat out. Gave him a good talking to at 4:30. Not fair him spending all day asleep and forcing me up in the middle of the night to let him out. I'll be quite pleased when kitten is old enough and savvy enough to be able to go outside by himself, and I can leave the catflap open again.
Just realised the wash I've put on will finish whilst I'm out - oh well
Have a good one folks....0 -

Aussie - I hope you're ok. I tried to erm, chop my sis's arm off once putting up my window in the front of mum's car, not realising she was flicking ash from her ciggie from behind me. I was winding it up thinking god, this is stiff so was trying to wind it really hard until she said "my arm!" from the back. Mum and me had a great laugh at her expense. She was alright - still funny now though :rotfl:Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0

DH wasn't game enough to laugh out loud (then) but he has since seen the funny side of it. Alas, I haven't yet.
My head is still sore.
