Victory!

Hi,
Been fighting a claim against Thomson for 2 years and they just paid out £1071 for a 6 hour delay in 2011. Initially they tried the montreal convention as a get out but when that failed they went for a bird strike excuse . I was told a different reason at the time of the delay. I checked under the freedom of information act with the civil aviation authority about this. Its worth noting they won't pass data about airline companies but will on specific aircraft types. I did my research on Thomson aircraft types and asked for all incidents 72 hours prior to the delay in....there were none. All UK carriers have to report strikes by law as an air accident..Thomson folded after being exposed for either lying or more concerning not reporting accidents. Always check with the caa or is European counterpart as im pretty sure they were lying or. Also do the leg work yourself you don't need a dodgey company who take your cash .
