The same engine was used in the Volvo v40D, however they changed the oil feed pipe and fitted a circulation pipe, the same engine runs for hundreds of thousands without issue, so it is a good unit, with a school boy design error they refuse to correct.
Wrong your thinking the PSA engine that's a pug engine, and it doesn't affect the 2010 on vehicles in pugs and fords. and Volvo has dropped that Unit in 2014 models too and developed their own DEA engine.

Part of the Furniture 10 Posts Combo Breaker
Ok so after a week waiting for a part, and a week to fit it, the car is now revving by itself but they fix it and we finally get the car back. the car is not right so my partner takes it to a different renault and after a day of whispering they say theres nothing wrong with it and give it him back. The car now drives ok... or so we think ....
after doing about 20 miles the car is screaming, whilst not accelerating braking or changing gear etc, it sounds like a playstation racing game but not pressing anything?
we have taken the car back in and they are now saying its the gear box? (manual car)
They've now had the car longer than ive owned it!
my question is, would you keep the car? or reject it?
