Hi ya, just got back from a trip to the bank and what a trip it has been!
When I came out of the house, I was met by a dear friend whose mum fell on her face when she was walking to school to pick up her daughter. Poor mum's face was bleeding and she was obviously shaken by the horrid experience. My friend asked if I could give them a lift to the nearest primary care centre or urgent care centre (much quicker than A/E). So off we went to the opposite direction of my bank. A friend in need is a friend indeed and all that. Or maybe we can rewrite it to say, a friend in deed is a friend indeed. Anyways, I was more than happy to help. When we got to the urgent care centre she said they would be fine and her husband is also on his way and would take it from there. The good thing is i still made it to the bank in time, just minutes before closing. So all the monies will go to their intended envelopes for this month's budget. And another good things is, I didn't spend anything at all. My sister in law (who tagged along during the entire trip) paid for the parking fee, she even gave me a 50p coin for my my 50p saver's tin and when she went to B&M for a bit of shopping, I managed to resist all temptations and spent nil! Hurrah, a week or so ago I would have come out with a big trolleyful of things. It's amazing how participating in DFW challenges and a bit more determination and self control can do to someone shopping mad as I used to be. How I wish I have had this discipline ever since, I probably wouldn't have had the debt problem that I had before. But as they say, onwards and upwards."There is Life AFTER DEBT."LBM 2009 Total Debt £49046.24 Debt Free as of 27/08/20150 -
:starmod: Reduced credit limit on the credit card that holds my debt. We have decided that when The Debt has been slayed we will keep a credit card with a small credit limit for emergencies but these emergencies will be true emergencies.

Aww your all lovely. Fingers crossed hey!
FVD - I am so disappointed about your pork pie. They are a huge favourite of mine. It is hard getting a good one with proper hard but crumbly pastry, the right blend of jelly, & a delicious well seasoned quality meat inside. Turns into Homer Simpson...
Hell, yes. The pie to meat ratio was *completely* wrong on a bigger pie :mad:Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

I think it's all down to which pie you buy. Pork pies are one off those things where they can be disgusting or lovley. Don't think its the size of the pie but the maker.Debt Remaing £315 :jBreath out the past, Breath in the futureBig Dreams Start Small0
