Ebay Global Shipping lose parcel - i have to pay!

If you have tracking to the Pitney Bowes [eBay GSP] warehouse, then Paypal will cover you under the seller protection rules.
Try phoning them with the info & tracking number.
Also did Pitney Bowes email you the forwarding tracking number for Italy?0 -
After being told 9 times by Ebay it was nothing to do with them, i finally got through to an eBay Global Shipping Specialist. They confirmed i was wrongly made to pay and have informed Paypal they made a mistake. I have just had an email from Paypal confirming they owe me money. Spent a lot of time on it though, and the fact the system allowed paypal to take my money in the first place is worrying. I've removed Global Shipping from my listings, and its been a slog - but i suppose its the end result that counts. Thanks for all your help0

Great News, as in eBay's original blurb it said the sellers would never be out of pocket if Pitney Bowes lost them item after it had reached them.
Still will use my own worldwide postal prices, as I can ship 500g+ to the USA via FedEx cheaper than RM's Tracked service0
