Gloss paint fumes when pregnant

Are the fumes from gloss ok for my pregnant partner. She has not been painting but I have painted spare room with gloss and wondered if fumes are safe?

I doubt anyone will have actually done any tests. Why take the chance though? Can't you just shut the door and leave the window open a bit?0

If shes anything like my wife was when pregnant with our two boys (10 years apart!) then she will have her nose stuck in the tin as that was her craving!
If shes not, then congratulations you're having a baby girl
(She's fine and the boys are healthy btw!)0 -
As long as she's not sleeping in there and the room is ventilated, I wouldn't worry about it, the exposure will be minimal.0

Thanks for the replies, I have had the window open in the spare room and also in our bedroom so hopefully the smell will go in the next day or so. It was something that I hadn't thought of whilst decorating the nursery. Then you start googling and it comes up with various things.0

I've no idea if the paint flumes will cause her problems, But I've found that the named paint makers Crown, Dulux etc don't give off flumes that my family can smell
the cheaper shop branded ones do have flumes that we can smell0 -
It was a Wilkos gloss, it didn't have any warnings for pregnant women but googling gloss paints you get mixed reviews with solvents.0
