Question about HB/LHA and bedroom entitlement.

Hi.
My entitlement for Local Housing Allowance is of a 2 bedroom.
I have just found a property online that has 3 bedroom (one very small) however the price is of a 2 bedroom property.
Before I arrange a viewing I would like to know if my LHA will be lower due to the extra bedroom, will I get less HB?
Does anyone know or should I call the council to check?

Your LHA won't change, up or down. If you could find a 6 bedroom mansion in 4 acres of land with paddocks and a swimming pool for the 2 bed LHA rate, you would get the 2 bed LHA rate and it would cover the rent in full... no deductions.0
