Clunk when driving over speed bumps

I have a Renault grand scenic, when I drive over speed bumps with both fronts wheels you can hear a really loud clunk.
This only happens when both front wheels go over the bump, if I drive over with just one wheel on the bump no noise from either side.
In normal driving everything seems fine...
Anyone have a idea what it may be.

Stress cracks in the shell....
Seriously, get it up in the air if possible (or at least very well supported on stands) and give everything Foxy and Forgot have suggested a good shake / pry / wobble for play. Should be pretty obvious when you find it.0 -
I would be thinking drop links although some Mazda models get that noise from brake pads rattling in the calipers.0

Drive slower over the speed humps?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Others have given/are giving good mechanical advice, I just added a sensible suggestion as some humps are so big as can cause damage.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I have the same car and experienced exactly the same thing.
We had to have struts, rods and junctions (?!!!) replaced at a total cost of £500 ish quid. Sorry!
This was two years ago but I have since started to hear the noises again :-(June 2009 - Wii; December 2009 - Fortnum & Mason Hamper; 2009 - Little Red Tractor DVD; How to afford time off work book; April 2010 - Mamas & Papas Pram; May 2010 - Imperial Leather Goodies; Jan 2011 - Trivial Pursuit cards; Narnia goodies; VTech cot mobile (stopped comping!)
