what makes you think it'll be any different for the PC ?
they are just usb devices, as long as you have a usb port, you can use it0 -
the device linked to is a Chromebook AIO, so mobile dongles may not work as there may not be drivers for it.........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
I believe that the Three dongles are compatible...Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Laptops ARE PCs!
OP, without a phoneline you want to use mobile data - that's either tethering to your phone, or to a 3G or 4G router. Instead of paying for a landline and an internet service provider, you'll be paying a mobile phone network for your data.
What your desktop PC will need is.... WiFi. This is the most convenient way to do the above. Any laptop you buy today will have WiFi built in, a desktop may or may not. If it doesn't, you'll buy a USB WiFi dongle (to the 'N' spec) for very cheap, which will give you a WiFi computer.
To use a USB device you need
a) a free USB port
b) drivers for the device. Windows 7 onwards should have you well covered for drivers for these devices, but they should come with drivers anyway. Follow manufacturers instructions.
Same goes for any other USB device you ever buy.0 -
The all in one i was looking at does not have built in wifi. I suppose that is reflected in the price though.:footie:0
