As long as you are careful then XP will run like a dream on that spec.0

Add more memory , stick with W7 (assuming it is a valid copy), you may get a free update to W10 too, which is a good option from what I have seen thus far, but 7 is still the best OS microsoft have realeased thus far0

the 10 update may or may not be a good thing, I haven't had a spare machine of good enough spec to try the beta so reserving judgement
as for 7 being the best....possibly, XP was pretty damn good too......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

Another vote for staying clear of the abomination that is Vista.
Any laptop I've installed Windows 7 on (rather than the supplied Vista) has run better.

I simply don't use Windows Explorer, but Firefox and Chrome instead.0 -
A quick Google shows the Lenovo supports up to 4GB of RAM so like the others have suggested I'd upgrade that first.It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0
