Is Fizzy Flavoured Water Better Than...

It's a tricky question because there is more than one type of "fizzy flavoured water" and more than one factor in determining whether something is more or less "healthy".
If you were talking about still flavoured water with artificial sweeteners, then that's probably better than Coke Zero because it will (probably) be less acidic, and because it won't have any caffeine in it.0 -
A person is best off with plain water full stop.0

Out of curiosity is sparkling water bad for health/teeth? No added flavourings just fizzy water.0

No, not AFAIK.0

True, but not many people in this country drink (or would want to drink) just plain water all the time.
Tea is the 2nd most popular beverage in the world, apparently, after water.0 -
normal tea is excellent, full of natural fluoride. Green tea is excellent too.
Fruit teas and herbal teas except chamomile) are very acidic and the fruit teas have alot of sugar.0 -

I've read that the process of making water fizzy produces carbonic acid. This gives the water a pH of 3 to 4, which means it'll still be bad for your teeth.0 -
As soon as you fizz anything it becomes acidic and is bad for your teeth if drunk other than an occasional treat.
If you read a diet coke tin it says that it has all natural flavourings and no preservatives! Adding fruit juice to fizzy water just adds sugar to an already acid drink.
None of these drinks are bad as an occasional drink but they should not be drunk every day.
Water plain and simple should be first choice to quench thirst. Tea, particularly plain green tea has also got a good claim to be a healthy option.0
