A lot of soul-searching went on here as to whether yesterday was an NSD or not....
I bought cat food, which has come out of my 'others' budget as I don't have a pet food budget due to not having a pet. But I get £1.50 from a cashback site *plus* a mail in redemption with the manufacturer for the full cost paid - so the cashback more than covers the cost of both the postage to mail in the claim and the required SAE which means I'm not out of pocket (and DD gets 6 free tins of food for her cat). Normally anything from this budget loses me an NSD, but I decided that in this case it doesn't as I won't be out of pocket once I get the cheque back and banked.
And I bought two milkshakes for DS1 - 'better than half price' (60p) in Mr T, then 30p cashback on each. He loves this make, but won't pay more than 50p for them which means they're not often on a good enough offer. Couldn't decide whether these classed as 'junk food' due to being a sugary treat (which loses me an NSD) or not, but in the end I put them against his milk budget (which is an allowable spend).
So that's NSD #19 for me :TCheryl0 -

Igor,victory pilchard margharitas for everyone!0 -
Word is filtering back from Gstaad. We made quite an impression.
Apparently, many of the town's fine citizens were taken in by Ms Nargle's elegant and refined appearance,as the rest of us hid in the bus.
Those Jimmy Choo Spongebob Designer wellies, the Cartier furry dice and the Chanel fake fur earmuffs with purple tartan motif.
Somewhat inexplicably they mistook Igor for an esteemed French chef (I'd like to know how that happened) and Swedish Chef for a famed 'A' list celebrity chef (who caters for Sir Woger, when he is in residence),and not the mad old bird that we all know and fear.
Apparently,we have trashed Gstaad's fine reputation, mainly through being considered 'riff raff'!:eek:
Packed lunches, flasks of coffee, karaoke instead of hiring a band, eeking out a bottle of beer to last all night, reusing tea bags....
There is an arrest warrant for Hubert and that cheeky little heffalump who trashed Sir Woger's pristine chalet, when we were all invited round for afternoon tea.
On a personal note,I can proudly say that my skiing has improved by leaps and bounds.I can now stand tall in my ski boots and skis, strapped in and ready to go.
I can't actually move without falling over,but,hey ho,we can't all be perfect.
I think that I speak for all of us when I say that we had a jolly good time, apart from the food, sharing a bunk bed with Hubert, the septic tank acting up,having to watch Swiss telly and small talk with Hans Peter (who's command of English makes Swedish Chef sound like Sir John Gielgud.).
A few more grey hairs have appeared,I see.
PS The latest A list cocktail BTW...pilchard margharitas! :rotfl::rotfl:0
