Hello there everybody
I have a customer that I am advising on potential Working Tax Credit. She lives as a single person with her adult son. Her son pays her board money.
Can anyone tell me if the board money is taken into account as income for a Working Tax Credit claim.
Thank you

The son is living in the family home and paying his contribution to household expenses - I do not see how this can be regarded as mother's income?0
