    Evening all,

About an inch of snow here this morning, it melted quickly though but left us with a very cold, windy day.

Went for a walk this morning with OH and Mossy, only about 20 minutes but it was the first time I had been for a walk since my operation so pleased even though it was so cold....would like to do it every day if the weather is suitable.

Dinner today was the rest of yesterdays ham shank, with fresh cabbage and potatoes. There are even some brownies left so pudding is sorted too.

TA and Csarina, sorry that you are not feeling well, please see the doctor and take it easy.

Elona, glad to hear that you are managing to help OH maintain his weight.

House seems empty now that everyone has gone home.....did see DS3 this morning as had to call him when we locked ourselves out, he works about 5 minutes away. He laughed at us and promised us that we would be in a retirement home the next time it happens! I amso worried.....not!

I had hoped that we would have kinder weather by now.....would like to do a little in the garden, my wild garlic is well up and raised beds could do with some more compost to make them ready to sow onions, beetroot and salad leaves. I am happy to see that I can buy new covers for mini greenhouses we bought a few years ago......think its aldi, so that will protect plants if its too cold to plant them out.

Going to do some knitting this evening, really need to use up some of my huge stash before I can allow myself to buy any more.

Take care everybody, stay safe and warm

    Marie
